COTTON - 8yr mini poodle, male, 24lbs Are you ready for a spunky addition to your family? My name is Cotton and I landed in the shelter as a stray where no one claimed me. The shelter vet removed a cyst from my booty at the same time as my neuter surgery and I'm all healed now. I'm on the chunky side - don't judge! - and could stand to lose a few pounds over the coming year. I'd love a workout buddy! I love toys, cuddles, walks and people. I kind of like chasing the cats in my foster home - technically it's exercising, right? They're too funny when they run from me - I'm not going to hurt them but they find it a little annoying. My beautiful poodle fur does require regular monthly grooming to keep me healthy and gorgeous. Pick me to be your new favorite family member! As with all our dogs we will require proof of a obedience course as we feel it is very important for the new family regardless of previous dog training experience to complete a training class soon after adoption to not only establish basic obedience but to bond with your new dog as well as socialize it. Adopt fee is $425 for adults, $475 for dogs under 1 yr. which includes core vaccines, dewormed, current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, heart worm/lyme test if over 6 months, a health certificate, microchip and spayed or neutered.
