About Jade BC/Pyr mix, about 1 year old, very leggy, beautiful shining black wash-n-wear coat Very much still the puppy (has already chewed up two charging cords, that was my fault, I thought I had everything up but didn't think about those) Doesn't have the border collie drive or energy level but much more people oriented than your average Pyr. Really looking for a family to devote herself to. A little higher energy level than a 1 year old Pyr puppy. Very hard to take photos of because she really doesn't want to leave my side. Loves to sit and lean on me to get pets. Will not fetch so no prey drive. She is very clean in her kennel. Absolutely no accidents anywhere in the house or her kennel (inside kennel with no outside access). So house trained. Goes out, does her business, then goes straight back to the door to go inside. Hasn't challenged my fence but I will not leave her outside by herself since I only have a 4' fence. Does still have the puppy tendency of chewing on things so cannot be left alone loose in house. Prefers to be with other dogs but doesn't have to be since she is so people oriented. See no signs of resource guarding of anything. Tail never stops wagging, very friendly to everyone. Will be cat tested As with all our dogs we will require proof of a obedience course as we feel it is very important for the new family regardless of previous dog training experience to complete a training class soon after adoption to not only establish basic obedience but to bond with your new dog as well as socialize it.
