Sadie is approximately a year and half old great pyrenees that was owned by an older couple that could no longer care for her and a Male pyr, Roscoe properly. Upon her arrival in New England we found out Sadie, although very thin was quite pregnant during a routine spay. We didnt against going thru with the spay and soon after 9 beautiful pups were born. Sadly one little one passed soon after. But everyone else have thrived and in process of finding their homes so now once Sadie is spayed she will be ready for a home of her own. Please please please do your research on this breed as they are not for everyone. Great pyrenees are a breed like no other. They bark alot, they shed alot and they will never be off leash dogs no matter how well you think you can set boundaries. A great pyrenees off leash is called dis-a-pyr! Great pyrs can also become very protective of their families. Socializing and training is so very important with this breed. If that doesnt steer you away please know those who have loved a pyr will love no other. As with all our dogs we will require proof of a obedience course as we feel it is very important for the new family regardless of previous dog training experience to complete a training class soon after adoption to not only establish basic obedience but to bond with your new dog as well as socialize it. Adopt fee is $400 which includes core vaccines, dewormed, current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, heart worm/lyme test if over 6 months, a health certificate, microchip and spayed or neutered.
