Maddie is 1.5 yrs old spayed female German shepherd from KY. Maddie is still very much a puppy and would do well with an owner who is familiar with the breed. Maddie bonds quickly to her people as do most GSD they live to be with their people. For this reason a home where someone around most of the day and one that can be a firm pack leader would be best. Maddie does fine with other dogs and children. She has been around cats but does like to chase them.As with all our dogs we will require proof of a obedience course as we feel it is very important for the new family regardless of previous dog training experience to complete a training class soon after adoption to not only establish basic obedience but to bond with your new dog as well as socialize it. Adopt fee is $400 which includes core vaccines, dewormed, current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, heart worm/lyme test if over 6 months, a health certificate, microchip and spayed or neutered.
