Luna comes to us from KY where she and her pups were at risk of being dropped off to the local shelter because she kept getting loose. A shelter is no place for young pups so we were able to have the young family fostered until the pups were old enough to travel north and be adopted. Luna stayed behind to gain some weight and get spayed. She is now ready to find her furever home. Luna is a sweet girl who loves people and does fine with other dogs and cats but true to her husky nature she does love to run so a fenced yard will be best for this girl. Luna is about 50# is up to date on shots, spayed and microchipped. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss you your application and the dog to determine if a good match. Your references including your vet will be called. A home visit done and finally a meet and greet and adoption if all are in agreement. Adopt fee is $400 which includes core vaccines, dewormed, current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, heart worm/lyme test if over 6 months, a health certificate, microchip and spayed or neutered.
