Copper is a 10 month old Boxer/pittie mix mix. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and crate trained. Copper was adopted from us as a tiny pup from the mountain pup litter last winter but returned as he was too much for the 4 year old in the home so older children only as boxers bounce, bounce, bounce. Copper is friendly and outgoing but has been at our kennel for several weeks and really needs to get into an active home that can work with him and be sure he gets plenty of exercise. Copper has completed basic obedience but like with most active adolescents he needs to learn self control as he gets excited meeting new dogs. At 10 months he is under 50# making him a great size. Copper is a beautiful dark black brindle with white. He is on the smaller side compared to his siblings but he is very sweet. Mom is a smaller mixed breed about 35# with wonderful temperment, dad is thought to be a boxer. As with any of our adoptions we do require that you complete a basic obedience course shortly after adopt. Not only does it teach your dog good skills but it also helps you bond with your new pet as well as keep the animal socialized.
